Features of Xpeng Electric Cars

There're some XPENG Electric Car Manuals PDF above the page.

Chinese manufacturer Xpeng Motors has launched the world's first mass-produced electric vehicle with LiDAR technology, making self-driving technology a standard feature on the P5 sedan.

The third XPeng production model, following the G3 crossover and P7 sedan, will feature an updated version of the feature called Navigation Guided Pilot (NGP) for the first time in a production car, equipped with the company's proprietary XPILOT 3. 5 full autonomous driving system.

Positioned as a family-friendly model to promote electric vehicles, the P5 boasts cutting-edge technology and unmatched value in its class with superior user-centric and intuitive in-vehicle features.

According to XPeng, the new XPILOT 3. 5 architecture is the most powerful autonomous driving system in a production car.

The new architecture relies on a total of 32 different sensors (2 laser rangefinders, 12 ultrasonic sensors, 5 mm-wave radars and 13 high-resolution cameras) and 1 high-precision positioning unit (GNSS + IMU) to provide 360-degree visibility when operating in complex road conditions.

XPeng P5 LiDAR units are capable of distinguishing between pedestrians, cyclists and scooters, static obstacles and road works in complex scenarios (such as night and twilight, alternating lighting, darkening in tunnels, etc. ).

By extending the Navigation Guided Pilot (NGP) function from highway to city traffic, the P5 will be able to handle situations such as changing lanes or overtaking cars, automatically tracking and optimizing the speed limit on city roads, recognizing traffic lights as well as small objects.

With a length of 4, 808 mm and a wheelbase of 2, 768 mm, the P5's technological superiority delivers superior style and total comfort inside and out.

On the outside, the P5's sleek aerodynamic profile is complemented by a neat fastback with an unobtrusive ducktail.

The X-shaped headlights and taillights echo the XPeng logo, embodying the “X-shaped” lighting language.

The 1, 493 m2 transparent panoramic roof provides unobstructed views and emphasizes the elegance of its profile.

Xmart OS 3. 0 for P5, XPeng's new automotive operating system and standard feature on P5, creates an enhanced digital cockpit for the next generation of user-vehicle interaction.

The powerful Xmart OS 3. 0 platform supports full-featured voice interaction, addressing the complex needs of driver-vehicle and passenger-vehicle interactions with one simple solution: Voice for Everything.
