Crossover Wey Lanshan from Great Wall.
In keeping with current fashion, a huge scoreboard was installed inside. Only a six-seater version has been announced for the model so far.
The manufacturer listened to the opinions of potential customers (unless, of course, this whole story was a planned PR stunt) and changed the appearance of the SUV: the result of the improvements was demonstrated at the motor show in Guangzhou.
But the interior was not shown then; the doors of the exhibited cross-country were locked.
Now the interior has also been declassified. Let us remind you that the SUV will be released on the domestic market under the name Lanshan (the crossover in certification photographs bore the Wey 80 index), which translated means Blue Mountain - this is an elite variety of coffee.
That is, the Wey “coffee” series has been continued (the brand’s range includes Macchiato, Latte and Mocha crosses).
Inside there is a now fashionable giant display consisting of a virtual instrument panel, a multimedia system display and a screen for the front passenger, with the last two touchscreens looking like a single whole.
Below the central display is a row of physical buttons. On the tunnel there are compartments for small items with lids and a platform for wireless charging of a smartphone.
Transmission control is assigned to the steering column lever. Wey Lanshan also got a projection screen, facial recognition and driver condition monitoring systems (a camera is built into the A-pillar).
For the SUV, only a six-seater version with two separate seats in the second row has been announced.
As for the appearance, the head optics (instead of headlights, separate strips of running lights and main lighting equipment), the front bumper and the radiator grille were new compared to the original version.
But they didn’t redo the stern - the lanterns apparently suited everyone. The length of the Wey crossover is 5156 mm, width – 1980 mm, height – 1805 mm, wheelbase – 3050 mm.
The Lanshan SUV available as a sequential hybrid with a Lemon DHT-PHEV installation, which includes a 1. 5 petrol turbo engine (works in generator mode, charging the battery) and a pair of electric motors.
According to preliminary data, the total power will be 517 hp. and 933 Nm, the crossover will supposedly be able to travel 180 km only on electric power (according to the WLTC cycle), the range taking into account a full tank of gasoline is about 1200 km.
