Founded in 1961, Lola Cars International Ltd is today one of the most experienced and oldest manufacturers of racing cars.

The first models of the company were designed for "Formula Junior" and had front-wheel drive and small dimensions.

Later, the company began to develop sports cars for other racing series, such as "Indy 500", "Formula 3000", "CART" and others.

Lola even produced race cars that took part in the most famous Formula 1 car races from 1962 to 1997.

In 2005, Lola cars was awarded a contract to develop a chassis for racing cars for the A1 series.
